I’m Michelle and I’m the face behind New Leaf Editorial.
I have devoted my career to creating better content.
From attaining an Honours Degree in Publishing Studies at the University of Pretoria, to immersing myself in 15 years of working in educational publishing, my work is rooted in a commitment to high-impact content.
During my time in-house, I handled a wide range of tasks: editing books at the line level, managing book projects, writing editorial systems, and managing a productive team of editors and editorial managers.
At the end of 2024 I embarked on a new chapter and joined the freelance workforce. My goal is to bring my passions, skills and experience together in new and exciting ways, to continue adding value to the huge mix of written content that surrounds us.
